Animal Nutrition Workstream Workshop – 24 – 26 March
The second P2DNZ Animal Nutrition Workstream Workshop will again take place in Leiden, the Netherlands, providing an opportunity to discuss how to reduce the dairy sector's carbon footprint through innovative animal nutrition solutions in a collaborative, pre-competitive environment. This workshop builds on the success of last year’s event, driving progress toward the P2DNZ goals.
The P2DNZ Animal Nutrition Workstream is supported by Trouw Nutrition though is open to all who are engaged in any form of dairy cow nutrition. The ambition of this P2DNZ workstream is to collectively identify and solve barriers to greater efficiencies in dairy cow feeding across a wide range of dairy geographies.
The workshop will focus on the work in each of the four impact areas: optimising dairy farming systems, improving nutrition systems, improving innovation adoption and building a database of GHG mitigation innovations, as well as generally discuss ways to maximize the global dairy sector's mitigation opportunities through animal feeding. This is an opportunity to work with colleagues from across the globe in a pre-competitive manner and share your thinking on where we need to commit joint efforts to achieve progressive outcomes.
