DSF starts Materiality Review of the 11 Sustainability Criteria
An important start to the next decade of the DSF involves the DSF undertaking a global review of the 11 sustainability Criteria that align the sustainability work the sector delivers. The DSF Governors want to ensure that the DSF remains fit for purpose as the dairy community continues to implement robust and impactful sustainability programs regardless of geography.
The DSF has commissioned US based ISOS Group to undertake the review which has just got underway and will conclude in May 2023. ISOS Group are not new to the DSF as they have been supporting the recent delivery of the DSF Implementation Pilots in Africa and Asia. The advantage being they already know the DSF model and are very familiar with the current Criteria. In addition, ISOS Group have supported many DSF members with their own materiality activities. DSF Members have the opportunity to support this process by sharing the experiences and outcomes of their own materiality reviews. ISOS Group will also be conducting several (virtual) regional workshops, providing an opportunity for DSF members to engage and expand on any experiences/material provided.
