2024 Breakthrough Agenda Report – Agriculture
The Breakthrough Agenda was launched by 45 world leaders at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in 2021 and is a commitment to work together to accelerate innovation and the deployment of clean technologies, making them accessible and affordable for all by 2030. A report, 2024 Breakthrough Agenda Report – Agriculture has just been published. Written by CGIAR, the report focuses on fertilizers and livestock, the two greatest sources of GHG emissions within the agrifood sector and explores four technologies for reducing emissions and provides specific recommendations that can be translated into high impact international priority actions for 2024/25.
