DSF Annual Meeting – have you booked your place?
Plans are shaping up for the 11th DSF Annual Meeting on 14 October from 08h30 – noon in Paris. You will not want to miss hearing our keynote speaker, Ben Williams, who has many years of experience delivering change management in agriculture, including working in R&D and Knowledge exchange for the UK pork sector. Utilising manufacturing principles from previous experience, Ben has developed lean management programmes for agricultural businesses that have delivered significant economic returns. These programmes were designed around farmers individual learning styles using education psychology to support change and adoption at pace.
Now working for Leprino Foods UK and EU, Ben supports sustainable dairy production from farm to fork, delivering programmes looking at sustainable feed, herd fertility, fertilisers and fuels with some impressive financial savings achieved on farm.
As well as the keynote speaker, we will have contributions from our Indian colleagues who are supporting the DSF with the Stage 1 Pilots. A number of DSF members have kindly agreed to share their sustainability successes from around the globe in small, interactive breakout sessions with an opportunity for participants to attend all topics. If you are motivated to share any part of your DSF sustainability journey and will be attending the DSF Annual Meeting in person, please get do let the DSF Secretariat know.
The DSF is looking forward to seeing you in Paris where there will be plenty of opportunities to chat with other members during the meeting itself, over lunch, during the Global Dairy Platform meeting (registration info below) in the same room following the DSF meeting and at the evening drinks reception that will follow the GDP meeting. Please register to book your place here. Don’t forget the event is open to anyone with an interest in dairy sustainability – non DSF Members welcome too! Spanish and Japanese interpretation will also be provided for the meeting.
If you are coming to Paris, and wish to attend the Global Dairy Platform meeting – please register here and of course, these events take place just ahead of the IDF World Dairy Summit.
For those unable to attend in person in Paris, there will be a hybrid option for at least the plenary sessions.
